Young performers from the Pauline Quirke Academy will perform Jurassic Jeffrey – A Tale of Dinosaurs at Resorts World all in the name of charity.
In the style of strolling Medieval players the audience will meet Jurassic Jeffrey and his pals in a feel-good play packed with jokes and fun. Jurassic Jeffrey was written by award-winning poet, playwright and Birmingham solicitor Ian Henery. Originally entitled Jurassic Jeffrey – A Tale of Dinosaurs in Wolverhampton, the play has been re-written and adapted for Birmingham.
“I am excited that the new play will be brought to life by the Pauline Quirke Academy at Resorts World Birmingham”, said Ian. “Many thanks for the support from Cineworld NEC and Resorts World Birmingham. Every penny we raise goes to charity.”
The charities who will benefit from the kindness of the Pauline Quirke Academy are St Mary`s Hospice in Birmingham, the Chinese Community Centre in Birmingham and Birmingham Chinese Active Citizens, which bridges the gap between the Chinese community and local authorities, raises awareness of the local Chinese community and supports community development.
