Paul Thandi is the CEO of the NEC Group and presides over what is one of the Europe’s largest and most high profile venue management companies. The Group now contributes more than £2 billion a year to the West Midlands’ economy and supports nearly 29,000 jobs. Paul represents the NEC Group on the board of Marketing Birmingham, is Chair of Birmingham & Solihull Employment & Skills Board, Chair of the Birmingham Sports commission, and provides business mentorship to three businesses in the digital and media markets. Paul was appointed as Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands in November 2013. Paul will be speaking about the progress and planned developments at the NEC, and what this will mean for business in the region.
