Previously known as the Birmingham Book Festival, this event run by Writing West Midlands has been a staple of the city’s autumn calendar for fifteen years. Using some of the city’s most interesting venues headline events include a specially commissioned lecture from Shami Chakrabarti and an ‘urban sermon’ on the subject of multiculturalism from Benjamin Zephaniah.
