There’s some incredible fundraising going on in the region as well as people and organisations stepping up to the mark donating food for frontline workers and making crucial PPE. Bravo Brum!

This series of images of essential workers taken by Birmingham photographer, Kris Askey before lockdown feels very relevant. The series incorporates the breadth of NHS workers including hospital porters and volunteers as well as doctors, nurses and ambulance crew and captures the warmth.
