Don’t know about you but we’re looking for something a bit special to add to the alcoholic mix this Christmas. And we think we’ve found just the thing – the Bramble. This festival tipple comes from Jack Lawless, head barman at the award-winning Gentleman & Scholar bar at Birmingham’s Hyatt Regency. The Bramble looks and tastes awesome – try it yourself and you’ll see what we mean. As always, enjoy responsibly.
ALL YOU NEED TO MIX IT UP BEAUTIFULLY
INGREDIENTS:
- 25ml fresh lemon juice
- 50ml gin
- 15ml sugar syrup
- Crème de cassis
- Lemon, blackberries and raspberries for garnish
METHOD:
Add the lemon juice, gin and sugar syrup to a glass.
Fill with ice and shake.
Strain mixture into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
Top with crème de cassis.
Garnish with lemon, blackberries and raspberries.
