Birchbox Pop-up Shop

Leading online beauty retailer, Birchbox, will be coming to the city for the first time with a pop-up shop at Selfridges Birmingham.

The beauty box brand is an online service that offers hair and makeup enthusiasts a monthly subscription, sending out beautifully presented boxes filled with mystery deluxe samples tailored to the customer’s unique profile.

The pop-up will allow customers to shop the physical space themselves and select six luxury treats they wish to fill their exclusive ‘Birchbox at Selfridges’ boxes with for just £15.

Featuring makeup, hair and beauty products from a range of leading brands including Benefit, Ole Henriksen, Laura Mercier and Percy & Reed, beauty devotees are being given a unique opportunity to discover new products or stock up on holiday getaways.

There will also be Birchbox beauty advisors on hand to recommend products.

Kasabian

After their historic show at Leicester’s Victoria Park in 2014, Kasabian, one of the UK’s best and biggest bands, are set to return to their hometown for a massive headline show at the King Power Stadium.

Currently holed up in a studio recording their sixth LP, vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and songwriter Serge Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews will play the home of their beloved Leicester City FC in May. It will be the first time the band have played in the UK since their incendiary headline set at V Festival in 2015.

Jean-Christophe Novelli Cooks Up a Storm

Popular chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli is set to cook up a storm at Leekes Bilston. The nation’s favourite French chef will be showcasing his culinary skills with a selection of tasty dishes during the Bank Holiday weekend.
