The Easter weekend just wouldn’t be the same without this annual black tie ball set in gorgeous Chessgrove Park. Organised by the Friends of Hanbury School in association with FewsMarquees, this superbly supported event always promises a terrific night out so dress up and indulge yourself with dinner, dancing and live entertainment.

The exhibition celebrates one of the greatest FA Cup Finals of all time and looks at how a football team can unite a whole city. Visitors will experience what is was like to be in Coventry City’s 1987 F.A. Cup winning squad, by entering the exhibition through a representation of the players’ tunnel. The muffled sounds of the crowd grow progressively louder until visitors enter the exhibition to the full roar of the Coventry City fans. Photographic portraits of the FA Cup winning team have been commissioned by the Herbert. Part homage to the players and part social commentary on modern football, the portraits by acclaimed photographer Paul Smith will illustrate how much football has changed in the last 25 years.

If you’re an ale lover, put the The Antelopes Ale-Fest in your diary. With over 30 real ales to sample, ‘Meet the Brewer’ afternoons and an ale loyalty card (9th pint free!) you’ll be happy. As if you needed another reason to go, all proceeds raised go to the MS Society, so you’re doing a good deed too.

The Old Cock Inn celebrates 300 years of licence with an evening full of tease that promises to be a real bohemian treat. Featuring renowned burlesque star, Constance Peach the revelries also includes magic, comedy and music for all tastes.

Warwick Castle is cursed and the witches are seeking revenge in its spine-chilling new addition to The Castle Dungeon. Designed to shock, scare and haunt, The Witches of Warwick delivers a new level of fright in The Castle Dungeon as victims (sorry visitors) journey through hag history. Not for the faint hearted, this extreme new attraction reaches out into the dark abyss beyond the grave to resurrect the tyranny of witchcraft.

The sublime combination of cheese & port has been enjoyed for centuries & where better to enjoy this traditional match made in heaven than at this fabulous Victorian country estate! The evening includes a two course supper & some very fine port.

Fundraisers will be hot to trot when they support this event t being organised by Sight Concern. The charity event will see people quite literally hot foot it across 25 feet of burning coals to raise money for Sight Concern which supports the visually impaired and blind in Worcestershire. Registration for the fire walk costs £15 and participants are encouraged to raise £100 for Sight Concern Worcestershire.

Local choirs are flourishing as never before. On Saturday 24 March there’s a chance to hear the talented young Junior St James’s Singers @The Croft who produced some real hair-on-the-back-of-neck moments at the recent High Sheriff of Warwickshire’s concert. They join forces with the Choral Society of Bromsgrove School for a concert at Birmingham Town Hall. Often described as ‘the best tribute band in the world’, the live touring sensation that is The Australian Pink Floyd Show returns to Birmingham this month with the 2012 show promising to take the band to a whole different level!

Dame Cleo Laine is the only female performer to have received Grammy nominations in jazz, popular and classical music. In 1983 she won the Grammy Award for best female jazz vocalist. She is regarded as one of the top jazz vocalists of all time and has performed across the globe. For this concert she is accompanied by Mark Nightingale on trombone, John Horler on piano, Alec Dankworth on bass and Jim Hart on drums.
