Live + Loud Festival
One of our favourite festivals of the year is back and we’re slightly excited!
Live + Loud celebrates Birmingham’s wonderfully diverse arts scene over four days of events at the iconic Selfridges building. Expect family activities, immersive performances, pop-ups, music, beauty events and exclusive brand shenanigans in a festival atmosphere.
Check out the big Beauty Party on Saturday, September 28, hosted by Mother’s Meeting featuring a live DJ set, refreshments and exclusive beauty experiences. Look out for exclusive beauty masterclasses and special offers running throughout the festival too.
Little ones can enjoy space themed crafts, dance, music and performances to mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landings. The Selfridges Space Party will feature complimentary cosmic activities, while staff from Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery will be on hand to teach youngsters all about space. Check out the zero gravity dance floor!
On Sunday, September 29, there’ll be three exciting pop-up battles, with hip hop DJ and radio personality Charlie Sloth sending his popular Fire In The Streets to the store to find a new rap and MC star. Local hip hop and grime producers will be able to showcase their talents, while world-class B-boys and some of Birmingham’s street dance community will be showing dance lovers how to pop, lock, vogue and whack.
