Star Car Family Fun
The British Motor Museum is inviting visitors to take part in two weeks of ‘Star Car’ interactive fun over half term. There will be the opportunity to meet Parker or Lady Penelope on a family tour and discover the stories behind the Museum’s famous cars from TV & film, plus get creative with ‘Star Car’ crafts and complete the ‘Star Car Trail’.
Star Car Crafts offer a range of creative activities and take place daily. Children can make a ‘Star Car,’ to take home – choose from templates of FAB1, Tomb Raider or Shaun the Sheep’s Land Rover. Lovers of Lego® can make a ‘Star Car’ out of Lego which will be captured on camera and added to the ‘Star Car Wall of Fame’. Those with artistic flair can draw a car for their favourite ‘star’ to be displayed, or to take home. Large Lego Bricks are also available every day for under 5’s to enjoy along with a self-guided Star Car Trail that will enable visitors of all ages to explore the ‘Star Cars’ as a family.
Parker & Penelope Tours will take place every day at 11.45am and 1.30pm, when costumed guides Parker or Lady Penelope will take visitors on a ‘Star Car’ family tour of the Museum.
All half term family activities are included in the Museum entry. Adults £14, Children £9 (5-16 years) under 5’s free, Concessions £12 & Family £39 (2 adults & up to 3 children). Buy 1 day and get 12 months free if you Gift Aid your entrance.
