A yankee-doodle creation that tastes just dandy

One or two select bars in New York are famous for mixing bubblegum-based drinks – hardly surprising when you think that the Yanks gave the world this ultra sweet and sticky confectionery in the first place! The Big Apple mixologists actually use bubblegum cut up and fermented overnight in vodka to make their creations. We’re pleased to say that this signature cocktail from the magic mixers at Aluna is simpler to deliver. Devised by general manager Yen-ting Mui it tastes rather fine too.

Ingredients

  • 30ml vodka
  • 15ml blue curacao
  • 25ml apple juice
  • 10ml bubblegum syrup

Method

Simply shake in a glass and served over ice with a crush ice cap, popping candy and glow stick.
