Auction of Big Sleuth sculptures raises more than quarter-of-a-million pounds for hospital

More than £257,000 was raised when 91 bear sculptures were auctioned in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The Big Sleuth auction attracted an audience of over 200 at ThinkTank, Birmingham Science Museum with a further 7,000 watching the event live online. Special surprise guest appearances came from the Peaky Blinders TV drama and characters from Cadbury World.

There was also a video message from local boy band star Bradley Simpson of The Vamps.
