VIP audience attends top business awards

Black Country leaders come together for red carpet Asian Business evening

More than 550 people attended the Black Country Asian Business Awards at Wolverhampton Racecourse. VIP guests came from the region’s private and public sectors and included representatives from the four councils of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. Sukhjinder Khera, managing director of food manufacturer KTC edibles, was the keynote speaker. Awards chairman Ninder Johal, who is president of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce and board member of the Black Country LEP, said that the event’s popularity is a sign of the strength of the Black Country economy. More than £6,000 was raised for the charity Promise Dreams
