Nothing signals the arrival of spring better than a seasonal cocktail. Brightly coloured and with an exotic taste, the screwdriver is perfect for welcoming in the warmer months
The drink allegedly got its name when American engineers started secretly adding Vodka to their cans of orange juice and stirred the mixture with their screwdrivers. Variations include a Sonic Screwdriver (with equal parts Vodka and Blue Curacao topped with lemon and lime soda), a Mexican Screw (with one part Tequila and two parts orange juice) or a Left-Handed Screwdriver (with one part Gin and two parts orange juice).
