The Manhattan

You’ve probably spent a large chunk of the summer cast away on some Iberian island, slurping dreadfully sweet cocktails made with inferior ingredients convincing yourself that this is the life.

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 shots of bourbon
  • 1 dash of old-fashioned bitters
  • 1 shot of sweet vermouth

Method:

  • Put lots of ice into a shaker
  • Add the bourbon, vermouth and bitters
  • Shake well
  • Strain into a Martini glass and garnish with a cherry
