Dan Filippi has been mixing and creating new drinks for over 15 years and is now the proud manager of Ginger’s Bar on Newhall St.
He loves what he does and believes that everyone should have their very own cocktail. The Rhythm and Blooms is one of his personal favourites and he’s decided to share it with us all.
- 35ml Hendricks gin
- 20ml St Germain elderflower liqueur
- 20 ml fresh lemon juice
- 10ml Belvoir elderflower cordial
- Stir with three tomato and cucumber puree ice cubes
Blend one fresh tomato and half a cucumber in a blender making a puree. Then pour the fresh puree into an ice cube tray and freeze. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass, stir the cubes, then fine strain the liquid into a chilled coupet or martini glass. For best result, garnish with a cucumber slice for aroma.
