Birmingham Civic Society reveals Next Generation Award champs

The focus was firmly on youth when Birmingham Civic Society held its Next Generation Awards at RBS Brindleyplace. The top award went to students from Lordswood Girls School for their project entitled Against Forced Marriage which highlighted and campaigned against this controversial practice. Runners-up were Harborne Academy, Holyhead School and King Edward VI Camp Hill whose projects covered the topics of beauty, cancer and child obesity.
