Reborn speed trails will bring thrills for all the family, launch VIPs told
Local business leaders and motorsport enthusiasts came together to celebrate the announcement of the return of a classic motorsport event to the region. The Chateau Impney Hill Climb will hit the start line this July after an absence of more than 40 years. Guests at the launch at Chateau Impney Hotel were told the event will cater for pre-1967 cars with 200 competitors put to the test on a challenging track. Rod Spollon, chairman of the Chateau Impney Hill Climb Club said: “We’re looking forward to reviving the speed trials for a modern and family audience.” Box out: The Chateau Impney Hill Climb is on 11 and 12 July 2015.
