Fashion in bloom at Botanical Gardens

Fund-raising campaign gets welcome boost with a dash of summer style

Stylish ladies visited Birmingham Botanical Gardens to get inspiration for their summer looks as well as raise £7,000 for the horticultural attraction. The Garden Suite hosted 200 guests served lunch by resident caterers Ampersand with fashion shows held between courses. Outfits, selected by stylist Beth Goodrham, came from House of Fraser Birmingham, Jigsaw, Reiss, Karen Millen and Captain Tortue. There were also hand and arm massages from Jo Malone, eyebrow threading from Benito Brow Bar and skin care from Arbonne. The Botanical Gardens Trustees’ are campaigning to raise £1million to improve four glasshouses and introduce new features.
