M6 toll road operator steers to £50,000 at super fun day event

Local charities received a huge £50,000 boost at the Drive for Charity fund-raiser and fun day held by Midland Expressway Limited (MEL), operators of the M6 toll road. MEL hosted the event at the M6 toll Motorway Service Area, Norton Canes. Cash raised went to Violets in Bloom, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charity & Fisher House UK, Staffordshire Search & Rescue Team and Midlands Air Ambulance. Each charity received a cheque for £10,000.
