Stars kick off Midlands first Club Legends Cup and net £50,000 for Cure Leukaemia

Some of the best-known names of Midlands football took part in the inaugural Club Legends Cup indoor football tournament at the LG Arena, raising £50,000 for Birmingham-based charity Cure Leukaemia. Stars taking part included Matt Murray, Lee Hendrie, Darren Purse, Darren Moore, David Busst, Jorge Leitao and current Coventry City manager Steven Pressley. Birmingham City won the final on penalties against West Bromwich Albion. Youngsters representing Coventry City won the FootieBugs Little Legends Cup and Wolves Women took the Ladies Legends title.
