Big Apple’s riotous dance company en pointe for Hippodrome’s ladies

Hippodrome Leading Ladies met for an evening of networking alongside a performance of New York’s riotous dance company, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. The boys in tutus and overstated mascara wowed the audience with their stunning en pointe technique. During the pre-show reception Leading Ladies made brick lanterns with artist Sophie Handy as part of the 2,241 Reasons to Remember: Birmingham Blitz project commemorating lives lost during three nights of intensive bombing in November 1940. The event raised £1,000 for the theatre’s Heritage project.
